Bachelor Admission Tests in Italy
For Bachelor programs, Italy uses national, standardized online admission tests managed by CISIA .
They are required by many universities for admission into Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Science, and several other programs.
There are two main types of Bachelor admission tests for 2026–27:
1. TOLC – Test Online CISIA
(Traditional system, still used by many universities.)
TOLC is a computer-based test that evaluates a student’s readiness for university studies.

Master’s Admission Test in Italy
Master’s (Laurea Magistrale) programs do not use CISIA / TOLC / CENTS.
Instead, universities evaluate applicants directly, using one of the following:

2. Internal Online Written Test
